Dining
Chrome runs through the whole of this shelf — as the polished frame under a glass or high-gloss top, and as the legs beneath a padded dining chair. Tables here range from a 90 cm round to 160 cm across, chairs come in sets of two and four, and every piece lists its assembled size before you order.

The four chrome tables here cover most dining rooms. The Bianca is a 90 cm round, which suits a kitchen corner or a flat where a rectangular table would block the walkway. The Andora is 120 cm by 70 cm. The Vera and the Chiswell are both 160 cm by 90 cm, and are the ones to look at if the table is the room's main surface as well as where you eat. All four stand between 74 cm and 76 cm high, which is standard dining height and the figure to check your chairs against. Measure the floor, not the table: allow room behind every seat for somebody to push back and stand.
Chrome pairs two ways here. With glass, the frame is the piece you see and the top disappears — the Andora is clear glass with a black border, and the Chiswell sets a glass top on an oak-effect base with a chrome tube frame. Glass keeps a small room feeling open, because the floor stays visible underneath. With a solid top the chrome reads as trim rather than structure: the Vera is a light grey high gloss, the Bianca a white matt. Gloss throws light around a darker room; matt is the quieter choice and shows fingerprints far less.
Every chair on this shelf is sold as a set — sets of two and sets of four — so the price shown is for the whole set and the quantity is in the product name. Most are upholstered in faux leather or leather over a chrome frame; the Knightsbridge and the Tilly are fabric seats on chrome legs, which softens the look if a glass-and-chrome table feels too hard. Chrome is forgiving to mix: the frames share a finish even when the ranges do not, so a set of chairs from one range sits comfortably with a table from another. Check the seat width against your table length before ordering, and the seat height against the 74–76 cm table height.
Chrome asks very little. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away — water left to evaporate is what leaves the spotting people mistake for tarnish. Avoid abrasive creams, scouring pads and anything chlorine-based; they scratch the plating, and once it is through there is no polishing it back. For a glass top, a standard glass cleaner on a cloth rather than sprayed directly onto the table keeps liquid out of the joint where the glass meets the frame. Check the fixings on any flat-packed frame after a few weeks of use and again occasionally after that.

Common questions
Answers to common questions about chrome dining furniture.
Ask us a questionAs a set. Every dining chair on this shelf comes in a set of two or a set of four, the quantity is stated in the product name, and the price shown is for the whole set rather than for one chair.
They run from a 90 cm round up to 160 cm by 90 cm, with a 120 cm by 70 cm in between. All four are between 74 cm and 76 cm high. The assembled size is on every product page.
Two do. The Andora has a clear glass top with a black border, and the Chiswell has a glass top on an oak-effect base with a chrome tube frame. The Vera and the Bianca have solid tops, in light grey high gloss and white matt.
Yes. Everything here is delivered flat-packed and needs home assembly. Each product page states how many cartons it arrives in and what the heaviest one weighs, so you can plan whether you need a second pair of hands.
One charge per order, set by the largest packaged item in it — £29 standard, £39 large item, or £49 where two people are needed. Ordering several pieces together does not multiply the charge, and eligible orders over £399 are delivered free. The exact charge is shown in your basket before you pay.
A soft damp cloth, dried immediately. Water left to dry on the surface is what causes spotting. Keep abrasive creams, scouring pads and chlorine-based cleaners away from it — those damage the plating rather than the marks on it.
