Buying more than one piece
Everything in Acorn is solid oak, which is the practical reason to buy across it rather than assembling a room piece by piece. Two pieces described as solid oak by different makers will rarely match once they are side by side — the colour, the grain and the sheen all move — and no photograph will tell you that in advance. Within one range they are finished to the same specification, so the match is a given rather than a gamble.
Where it reaches
Acorn starts in the bedroom and carries through to living room and home accessories, which is what makes it worth browsing as a collection rather than a category at a time.
Living Room 48
Includes bookcase, tv unit, nest of tables, table and coffee table.
Bedroom Furniture 37
Includes dressing table, bedside table, chest of drawers and blanket box.
Home Accessories 27
Includes mirror.
Beds 46
Includes bed frame.
Ordering several at once
The pieces here run from 53 cm to 140 cm wide. Buying two or three together changes what you need to measure: the combined run along a wall rather than each piece on its own, and whether the cartons will all come in on the same trip. The heaviest single carton in Acorn is 53 kg, and larger items arrive in more than one carton.
Common questions
Which rooms does the Acorn collection cover?
Home accessories, living room, beds and bedroom furniture. Every piece currently available is shown on this page.
Can I buy a single piece rather than the whole collection?
Yes. Every piece is sold individually unless its own product page states that it comes as a set.
Will the pieces match?
They are all solid oak and finished to one specification, so they are made to match. Natural timber still varies slightly between batches — that is the material rather than the range.
Does it arrive assembled?
Some of it. Some pieces arrive assembled and the rest are flat-packed; each product page states which.
