Product overview
Solara Orb Pendant Light
A spherical pendant light built from curved timber bands, with three inner lamp holders.
Design and finish
Made from wood, finished in brown. An open orb formed from wide curved bands of timber crossing over one another, with three candle-style lamp holders suspended at the centre. The finish is a pale whitewashed wood with the grain showing through and the edges lightly distressed.
In the home
Because the sphere is open rather than shaded, the light passes straight through it and the bands cast their own shadows across a ceiling. It suspends on a chain with a matching ceiling plate, and suits a stairwell, a hallway or a dining table where the fitting is seen in the round. Bulbs are not supplied.
