Product overview
Acorn double bed frame
The Acorn bed frame is made from solid oak rather than a veneered board, which is a difference you notice at the edges and over time.
Choosing your size
This frame is available in 2 sizes: Double and King Size. In standard UK sizing, double takes a 135 × 190 cm mattress and king size takes a 150 × 200 cm mattress. Mattresses are sold separately. The size you choose above sets which mattresses are shown as compatible.
Dimensions and room planning
In double, this bed frame measures 150 cm wide and 209 cm deep. Dimensions vary by size — the other sizes differ in width. The headboard stands 105 cm from the floor, with a 65 cm footboard. Its footprint is 150 cm by 209 cm. Check the route in as well as the space itself: doorways, stair turns and any tight corner are what usually decide whether a piece this size can be delivered.
Materials and finish
Made from solid oak. Solid timber carries its colour through the material rather than in a surface layer.
